"A Printing Press In Their Pockets"
Light for the Lost is excited to partner with missionaries creating Pattern Apps for mobile devices that are 100% evangelistic and help spread the gospel in sensitive areas where Bibles are scarce or illegal to possess.
Missionary Nolan Sanders, who co-leads the Pattern Apps team, says people using the apps have “a printing press in their pockets” with just as much evangelism potential as any other resource in history, but at a fraction of the space and cost.
Recently, a missionary in a sensitive country was speaking with Indian and Russian nationals who were curious to learn more about Jesus, so she began teaching them privately. She showed her friends how to get multiple language versions of Pattern Apps on their phones and how to use them to study the Bible, answer questions about God, and even how to pray to Jesus.
The missionary says this has completely changed the missions landscape in her location. These apps are transforming how we reach people in sensitive nations! Thank you for helping LFTL take advantage of new tools for ministry and exponentially increasing our ability to reach lost people for Jesus.
